I am considering mounting my fridge and my 2000 watt WEN generator on slides.

The refrigerator so it would be in an insulated box normally and pull it out to open the lid.

The generator same basic idea, only would pull out to fuel up and check oil. It would be in the box when running. (ventilated both ends)

Any input on what drawer slides would take the abuse, especially on the generator.

Would need to be approx. 18" -24" working length.

Generator weighs about 50 lbs. and would be on a Swing-a-way rear hitch.

Fridge will have hot areas needing ventilation assist.

Only cool sides / areas should get extra insulation.

If they will be down low some casters and a restraining strap will work instead of slides. screwing down a small speed bump in front of the wheels would work also.

Thanks for the links!

That teardrop trailer is definitely using extreme drawer slides.

My fridge has the compressor and electronics all at one end, so the box would not cover them at all.

Thank you guys !!
