So i ordered the Dometic CFX-65 from amazon and received it on friday. And so far... wow.... for living in a van and loving food, this is one convenience that I don't mind paying a little extra for, and it was well worth it.

This thing is 2.2 cubic feet I believe, about 50 lbs empty.
It is a freezer and a fridge at the same time, not just one or the other, Tho you do still have the option if you only wanna use it as a freezer or only as a fridge. Its nice and deep like.. so there's PLENTY of space.
We went to hocking hills in ohio over the weekend, and since we could only run it off our 12 volt input in the van, we don't have solar or an inverter or anything yet to keep it constantly powered when not plugged into shore power. I worried about temperature rise when it wasn't on, and my worries were for nothing. The longest we had it off was during sleep, and the temp really didn't raise that much... and when its powered back on it gets back to its temp really quick.
I know its only been a short time, but I'd personally say its worth the investment.
