I may be buying an as-is Dometic CF25. I am an electronics tech so i may able to do repairs.
Does any one have working control boards or other parts for a CF25? Are parts available to buy from the manufacturer? Would it be be worth buying for under $125.

Thanks fof any help.

I am not sure if that model still uses a Danfoss bd35f compressor and controller or the newer Waeco clone of the Danfoss.

The replacement compressor controllers cost nearly as much as a new fridge.
I'd not know how to service any electronics inside the compressor controller.

A big issue is dust accumulation of the condenser and fan.  When the fan starts drawing too much juice the controller will shut down the compressor for fear of frying it.  I had to put a filter on my air inlet as my fan and condenser were getting badly obstructed in just 4 to 6 months.

I read the earlier danfoss compressor controllers were failing due to heat.  They later added a finned heatsink to the back of the controller .

Do some searching around this site:

Best o luck

I received the Dometic CF25 today. Turns out it works just fine. No repairs needed.
Took a chance on Ebay sold as-is. Paid $127 shipped. I am so happy now I can have money to spend for the rest of the build. Will start out with one Walmart marine battery. Thinking of using a solenoid system to start. My van being a high top conversion van should have a larger alternator then normal. I will just be running the fridge and a Fantastic 14 speed fan for now. Later will add a renogy 100w panel, i already have one 30w renogy panel.
