I have a 1976 Ford 'Casual' Class C RV. LOVE it, but the noise coming off the 'doghouse' is too much when I have a passenger (other than my dog!). Ideas?
Is the doghouse mounted properly? Sometimes it is hard to get them in the right spot and then someone in a hurry tightens down the bolts. Is there hot air leaking in or just noise?

Ha we just had the stereo on HIGH, if you can remove the cover by unlocking the 2 or three latches check the soundproofing liner and seal well seated and liner in place you "should" have minimal noise. Does it sound metallic?
yeah your sound deadening mat on the inside of the dog house is probably gone. if it is and you are going to add new stuff make sure it's fireproof. highdesertranger
In a vehicle that old the rubber gasket around the perimeter of the doghouse is also likely to be defective as well as the insulation inside the doghouse as have been previously mentioned.
They were (and still are) a bit of PITA to get in to place properly. You might also notice that either your passenger or yourself find your feet getting uncomfortably warm from air leaks at the gasket.
