I subscribe to a youtube channel of a blind guy named tommy edison. Well coincidentally i noticed the man who films for tommy had this documentary/vlog he is doing about his trip across the country, from conneticut to california, in his van.

People had said to him that he should take a roadtrip across at least once and it will change his life. He felt this was strange and wanted to see why or how. So hes doing it.

Here is the first part.

I thought he was gonna camp i the van, but i guess they are just using it like a moving truck, bummer. Still gonna be interesting I think.

This would be ALOT more interesting, (not to mention entertaining), if they'd just GET OFF THE FREEWAY!!!

They're gonna miss out on SO MUCH by sitting on the freeways like this! You can't just jump off some exit and expect to "find America".

This is why people are still touring Route 66...and they're going to miss it completely!

Actually, they 'should' be doing a big ol' loop of America. They need to see the PNW, the deep South, Apalacia, the Colorado Rockies, the Great Plains....they're dropping the ball. (but I'll keep watching.)

Well they are taking 11 days so they have to get off at some point, so well see :D I think it woiulda been cool to do this but with twitter or something guiding them with suggestions real time from travelers.

11 DAYS???

Crap, you can't hardly get a good taste of what a state is like in 11 days, more or less an entire nation!!

Yet another episode of "How I can make a quick cross-country trip and get rich & famous in America, without really doing any work for it."

I would love to do a cross country roadtrip. But honestly, I think I'd only be interested in places where there is warm sun and ocean surf (and scantily clad...umm :D). That pretty much limits me to only the Florida Keys and Venice Beach California, haha!

outside of Metro Areas I always get off the interstates and putt along the backroads......I have found that finding small cash jobs , great boondocking and friendly people are out there!!!

life just slows down and becomes more affordable and less stress!!
