We heard about dead bodies found by dove hunters on Sunrise Mtn.....There were bodies in the Strip/Dntwn parking structures.  Even set on a single channel, the dispatchers' mouths were constantly going at warp speed.

Anyway, I was just wondering.  When people mention burying bodies, I always think of LV.

Sounds like they don't bother with shovels in Vegas!  :p

Anewbiewannabe: You've got that right! They just dump them and leave. The buried ones haven't been found yet...

Last night I was looking at a "wish" book.  As a child these were the Christmas catalogs of Sears @ Roebuck and Montgomery Wards.

As a Gran'ma who is older than dirt my tastes have changed, somewhat.  Truck Round Up makes an excellent "wish" book as far as I'm concerned.  I was going thru the most recent one last nite and again I thought "just look at the fenders and running boards on that"?  I love the old trucks from the  '30s , '40s , & '50s.  Like the truck in the movie "The Grapes Of Wrath" those were vehicles a person could live in/out/ of and carry all their house hold goods too.  Just look at the roofs on the old Surburbans and Panel Wagons, lot'sa room for solar & tools & lawn furniture too.

I had 2 great uncles who moved lock stock & barrel from OK to Ca during the dust bowl days.  I think that's where I got the mind set of better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.

Other than the hoe, rake and shovel and cultivator that are usually in the Ranger I also carry jumper cables, tow strap, 4 way and bottle jack/s.  A good thick board with a bottle jack and a shovel can often  keep a person from a long wait for help in getting a vehicle or trailer back up and rolling.
