Greetings. A week ago I lost my rented room in a house without having been able to secure another, so I am now in my van, which, amazingly, allows me a great night's sleep because my full sized mattress, plywood and six wooden boxes bed set up fits exactly in my van. Would love to make connections here, and locally, so loneliness doesn't drive me off a cliff somewhere. Howdy, neighbors and comrades. Would love to make some like-situated friends. Peace.

Take a college class, volunteer at your local animal shelter, other activities that have you showing up at the same place at the same times with the same people in a fairly non-judgemental situation with enough time to get to know each other.

In Seattle you can meet lots of van dwellers. Head to Gas Works Park, Discovery Park etc. Places where you can spend the day and where you will find other van dwellers hanging out.

glad your bed is set up the way you like it and you are sleeping good :) great sleep means you can cope better with your situation, not druggy and tired from lack of it!! Hoping it all goes well for ya out there and what you desire falls into place and you get yourself into a good arrangement!
