The mic key for voice recon is missing with default setting with Kit Kat 4.

After using this phone for a month I am happy. No significant issues. Did install CAR DASHDROID app to improve on simplication of the interface. Makes a simple way to launch apps. And you can set up voice commands with this also.

A newer version is the LG L16C (Lucky). It may not be as good as the fuel (some report slower), but it is $10 and has bluetooth 4.

Verizon has been dumping their 3g only phones, I picked up one for $8 (best-buy 4 hour sale) to have as a 911-only phone. (911 will work even if your phone isn't paid up.) Check out the black-friday ads (slickdeals.net has a bunch) for more bagains.

Just make sure the phone has a sd data card slot so you can expand its memory. Would also be nice to have a hdmi output too. Is that wishful thinking ?
