Delete A/C , microwave from new travel trailer?

I'd check on the price difference before I made the decision, but for boondocking I think you should delete the expensive and (sometimes troublesome) absorption fridge and RV furnace.

There are better alternatives for fulltime-boondocking, like a 12v compressor fridge powered by solar, and a Wave 3 or Wave 6 for heating.
 
I appreciate all the thoughtful responses. I've come a ways since starting this thread. Pretty definite now on starting out in a van build, probably a new Nissan NV2500. As I get older and start to slow down maybe keep the van and add a used travel trailer. Do the NM state park thing part of the year. Who knows...
