Just a heads up if you are in the NE specifically the northern Philly area.

There is a connecting highway from the NJ Turnpike to the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
It appears that the heavily used bridge has suffered a crippling crack!

Plan alternate routes people.......

Or maybe it is another Gov. Chris Christie "BridgeGate"? ?

Little bondo and paint and She'll be right mate.

Seriously though, thats gonna put a time dent an a lot of lives.

Plenty of other bridges across the Delaware. This one is just between the NJ and Penn turnpikes. It is causing lots of traffic problems around Phild itself.

Update: There was work on the Patco High Speedline tracks that run under the Ben Franklin Bridge but that was back in Jan/Feb and it's pretty much done now.
There will be ongoing lane closures on the Walt Whitman bridge going into NJ through out the summer ( just checked website) but that's only one or two lanes @ a time.
The Betsy Ross , Commodore Barry and Tacony Bridges are all open and running smoothly! I live in the area so if you have any further questions just ask. Thanks
