And yes, non electric, e.g. on a propane stove, is much better for those on limited DC electric setups. Groupon special $7 for Mr. Coffee espresso percolator.
 
I saw this an an add on Facebook - looks neat and would be great if you had a makita 12v chager. But gas here is super cheap and a coffee peculator is as well so i think it would be a luxury for me personally
