Well, a big hello to alla youse! It's Peter. I was at the last RTR (2015), helped with the cooking of the Chili and Soup dinners. A year later and I am already in my van, not quite on the road, but stealth camping around my home area (SF Bay Area).

I just want to say thanks to all who gave me support and offered their rigs for inspection and inspiration. I've got a 2010 Ford E350 that is nearly ready to leave for the 2016 RTR. I have a couple of blogs going, they may be found here: https://drivernotes.wordpress.com/ and here: http://travelswiththepelican.blogspot.com/
I'm not sure which format I will continue with, but the first kind of outlines the process of getting *to* the van and the second (only one post so far) will be about being *in* the van on the road.

There are some photos of the van on each of those blogs, I am a little challenged on getting them to post here.

See you at the RTR!

Hi Peter! I'm glad everything worked out for you.
Do you have any requests for the soup pot? We're traveling along Route 66 to California and will get to the RTR site a few days before the start of the gathering so we can stock up on some of that good California produce.
See you at the RTR!

Everyone who's coming to the RTR should be very glad to hear from Peter. Our two dinners go instantly from "pretty good" to "Wow, that's great!!"
