Correct R&I of roof/side molding ???

As all this is new to me...what is the correct way to remove reseal and replacement of the exterior roof to side molding..<br><br>What is the suggested 'seal' under the molding????<br>What type of screws are recommended ...stainless,steel???<br>and when the molding is back on, what sealer should be applied,,(I am planning on using the "liquid rubber' to seal the roof) should this be applied over the molding?.....<br><br>I appreciate the help and advice Ive been getting,,,
