There are a lot of sink/stove combos, usually from Europe, but here is one I came across that uses less countertop depth with a cool idea for more space above:

and here in a Van from a cool Van build here.

This one and many others available Here, at Panther RV. Warning, they are a bit spendy, but probably worth every penny.

I've looked at those back when I was thinking alcohol looked like a good fuel choice...some neat, compact designs.

I realized at some point that having about the biggest sink I can fit would be a good choice for me...heck, I'd love to have a utility sink!

I've used so many different sinks over the years for clean-up of some sort...and it just comes down to big, deep sinks make me happy, especially when combined with tall, detachable sprayer-head faucets. Small, shallow sinks with itty bitty low faucets make me sad.

That is a sharp looking unit. I have to agree with you, Europe seems to be leading the way with the more compact yet practical sink/stove combos. Other vehicle dwelling products at well aimed at smaller scale. Guess it's no surprise though, our RV industry keeps putting out bigger and bigger vehicles, home appliances are becoming the norm in the industry in our country!

well Brad guess you won't be putting in one of those combos in your new rig. highdesertranger

I found these just looking for a stainless double sink to replace the stained crappy plastic "thing" in my travel trailer, and perhaps get more counter space by replacing the Attwood range at the same time... Except SHE has used the oven a few times now, soooo maybe not. :dodgy:

Yeah, we never used the one in the motorhome, go figure!

so how long dos it take to bake an apple pie in a convection/microwave. highdesertranger

Lower the cooking temperature by 25 degrees and cook the same amount of time as normal or shorten the cooking time by about a quarter.  It all depends on the oven but this is a good starting place and it does double duty.  I don't cook apple pies.  I do reheat (MW) them though and have a little vanilla ice cream with it.

Biscuits in the morning, yummy.

My old TT has a coleman Holiday 3 burner stove with oven...in a 16x8 TT it's almost more curse thatn blessing

for the space it robs and the huge amount of heat it puts in the TT
For cooking it's the cat's meow, but the trailer is pretty cramped, being a 'bunkhouse' (who buys a dinky little trailer to sleep 6? folks who don't spend much time in it I guess)
Now if the stove /sink / bathroom were up front, where the fool bunks / dinette are located, like in most modern small trailers, with a real bed in back, it'd be far more 'full timeable'
Had I built this trailer from scratch, I'd have used a portable camp stove so I could cook outside when the weather's hot

I can see that. cooking inside on a hot day would be a bummer. why don't you just assemble an outdoor kitchen. a stove and a table would be a good start. you could tap off the trailers propane system so you wouldn't need extra bottles. highdesertranger
