at solwest we all gathered in the evening and emptied beer bottles slowly, we put solar lights on the bottom of the pile, after a few half racks were emptied it made a nice surrogate for a fire.
the way the cooker works is a good seal between the pan and the can (so cut the hole carefully), the can is insulated with paper towels and open at the bottom, heat rises so all of the heat from the candel is used until it is colder than the pan and then falls out of the bottom.
there is space between the pan and the an that the hot air can get to so warmth engulfs the pan.
