Anybody know anything about 1994 dodge ram 250 conversion high top van? Not much information had to drag that part out She is going to take pictures later. She is asking 1800 bucks.

Hi She....
I have a friend who owns a 1996 Doge ram conversion van with a fuel injected 318 V8 and a two speed rear axle....(I don't know much about the rear axle in his) but he has a button on the dash that he pushes for highway travel and he claims 20 mpg with it...not so good for town travel of course....
He is really happy with it and I have sat and laid down on his convertable rear seat/bed set up and it is very comfy...he likes it so much he is leaving it just like it is...

Good luck...sounds like a good price
Bri

Hey thanks for the information but.....no high top so had to walk away. Hard trying to find a van!!

and how! trying to save dough for the buy and not get boone swaggled in the process!

The way I look at it is this. The longer it takes the more money I save for a better one. I am not really looking for my dream van...that will come later. This is my practice van LOL Good Luck Aunt Meg

Hi Aunt Meg ,

The only things that I would consider when purchasing a mid-90's Dodge would be that most of them will probably need a new fuel, and a new transmission at about 150,000 miles approx. I have had numerous Dodges( I love them!) and when I am considering purchasing one I always factor in the expense of a pump($700-900) installed, and a transmission (1200-1500) installed, approx. costs(depending on the shop) Most Dodge engines are good for at least 250,000 miles and up, depending on previous maintenance done. Every brand of vehicle has it's good/bad sides to them(there all evil)

                                                            Hoped this helps!!

                                                                              Randy

Thats good to know but its funny so far every van I've looked at so far got a newer tranny already. This last one I don't know as I never looked at it. But the one before it was a 1990 e150 van. It it got replaced in 2006. The van before it did too.
