Cell signal boosters

I have to get a cell signal booster asap or i can't go on the road as much. I cant work without signal. 

Can someone tell me the best reasonably priced booster? I cannot pay over $500 for this. I am in Canada so please no proprietary type models or stuff difficult to get.

Howard forums might be the best place to ask and talk about Canadian cell service. Depending on where you plan to travel answers may differ
