looks like a dandy rack...but not for $650!!

I'd be checking out my local jukyards for one from a utility company van, (which should be quite similiar)....but that's just me.

So the rack is Patrick approved...good to know!
I think this type of rack can more easily conceal my future solar and my not-yet-installed fan.
Maybe someone else disagrees...?

It is a great looking rack, but a standard ladder rack and 2x4s and plywood painted white will do the exact same thing for a lot less. But, be much heavier.

If money is no object, that's a great looking rack!!

I got some Kee Klamp rail flanges and U-bolted them to the factory rack, using 1-1/4" galvanized fence post as cross bars. I shimmed them up on pressure treated to clear my roof. Not as professional looking, but lightweight and super strong. I personally think they look industrial enough that they as just as stealthy as ladder racks.

These are the flanges, Kee Klamp has a distributor is most cities:

You can get the pipe mount gutter brackets or bolt on really cheap, and then use metal conduit for the pipes. My entire setup <$4o.
