Anybody have experience with pulling both types of trailers? Is the V front easier to pull, better mileage than the flat or slightly rounded front? Is it significant?

How about the V nose with the top that slopes down a foot or so?

I imagine the V offers some unique storage abilities that the others don't.

It's a give and take. The V "feels" more stable, less likely to wag, but any proper setup will not wag hard under reasonable conditions anyway.

The storage thing, well, it's a smaller place then a flat front. Kind of an odd space when you are used to working with boxes, but it's useful space since it's the area that would normally be just the A-frame tongue.

It's not a clear cut thing. I didn't notice a huge difference when I towed one (it was a loaded down cargo trailer), and my experience with travel trailers leads me to think that in most cases it's a wash.

Thanks for the replies. I checked out other sites and decided to focus on an aluminum cargo trailer. I used the "All of Craigslist" search and found a 6 x 12 V-nose Featherlite about 250 miles from me.
I am now in process of insulating the walls and ceiling. I purchased a Fantastic Vent and will install that in the near future. Also looking into solar.
Will be taking this on a 3 - 4 week adventure this fall. We want to start with what we think are the minimum needs then add as we go. Trying to keep the weight down and dont want to get too decked out with un-used things and foo foo.
