I tried to look it up, but all they showed was replacing the FUNCTION.  I don't want to change the function.

I have a black keyboard with hard-to-see medium gray letters -- moronic, at best.

I have a white keyboard with black letters -- easier to see, but since I bought it, it consta ntly s kips sp aces like t his.

Can I just pull the white ones off and stick them on the black one?

Not the same brand, the stupid black one is Lenovo and the stupid white one is Microsoft.

Depends. Most keys can come off and be replaced. But there are different kinds of keys and not all are interchangeable. The thin laptop keys for example have a delicate "scissor" mechanism that is difficult to put back in place.

I suggest just pop a key off from each keyboard and see for yourself. Do so carefully and you won't damage anything.

Because I type totally by feel, I used to always remove the keys from my keyboard and replace them in random order. It was a good joke any time someone else tried to use my computer.

I don't know about changing keys on a computer, but I changed my car horn to sound like gunshots.People move out of the way a lot faster now.

Isnt a keyboard at Radio Shack like 12 bux or so?

hahaha...Good one!

I type by feel too and my last keyboard/laptop was so worn that the more commonly used letters were tptally illegible.

I loaned the laptop to a friend one day, came back from running errands and found small pieces of masking tape used to label each of the 'blank' keys!!

The white one IS the new one, the POS (not Point of Sale).

I touch-type for letters, but have to look at the number/symbol line.

Well, now.... isn't THAT nice! I didn't know there was such a thing.

THANKS, Gadget!
