Can you help answer some q's about the bay area?

Hi everyone, I built an app that let's you ask anonymous questions to the local community. Currently there are about ~50 people on it, mostly those in the SF bay area. Recently, the app has gotten a lot of users who are interested in vandwelling so we've been getting q's like this:

Unfortunately, I don't really know any specifics about vandwelling so I am hoping that some of you would be able to help. The app might even be useful for you. Interested. What provisions do you have to ensure / enforce anonymity?

What info required for signup? Does the app's servers keep records of past content tied to anything like IP address or location?

What do you do if authorities want access to those records?

Good q's. You can pick any username you like. We only require email address but it is not necessary to verify your email address. 

We do require location permissions on your phone but do not display or store your location data, nor do we actually display your location anywhere on the app.

We haven't ran into any such incidents yet so I would have to do some research and get back to you on that.

Most of your posted questions have multiple answers from different perspectives. If its about giving them info, give them your referrer link. I understand not much glory in this, but this site is very informative. If not that, then just post their questions in the appropriate subforum and "interpret" the answers for them? No copy\pasta! That's illegal somewhere...lol. Best of luck!
