What are your California  urban city  overnight parking tips  for Orange. San Diego, Los Angeles, Monterey and Bay  Area?  I'm looking for places to park from 7pm--7am  and near Public transportation?  Costco,Sam Club,Walmart,Casino,Safeway, Hill Nob. Raley, Bel Air.

Class A or C

Monterey: Lapis Rd, off Del Monte Blvd. There are a fair amount of dwellers there and you shouldn't be hassled. Can't speak to public transportation but it is within a few miles of Costco and Walmart.

Any street works as long as its not marked or signed saying otherwise. Move around as much as you can, avoid residential, you will be just fine.

Thank you Fivealive, Big Smiley, MrNoodly, I found free overnight parking near Big Sur, San Diego and Los Angeles. with your help I now need to find free overnight parking for South Lake Tahoe and Half Moon Bay area.

I'm interested in some Bay Area options myself, especially around San Jose.

Mountain View close to the bay, In Santa Cruz Co along Highway 1, or in town Harvey West.
