No problem guys.

There’s all kinds of spots of course. Here are a couple cool ones that you won’t get harassed at, but they’re not near anything.

Going East from Bolivar, look at Cameron, LA. Look for Rutherford Beach in Creole LA. That’s way out there. Lol.

In Morgan City, LA, there’s a boat launch at the ICWW intersection called Berwick Boat Landing. You can camp and fish there and watch boats go by all day.

In New Orleans, you can park almost anywhere and camp. But just not in the French Quarter. Park uptown and take the street car to the FQ. I could write a book on stuff to do there. Just be careful, even tho Nola looks like a great city, it’s VERY dangerous.

My best advice in New Orleans is to not look like prey. Predators are generally just opportunistic and look for weak prey. I've been to every bad area in New Orleans and never had an issue, but was alert and didn't walk around looking scared. That said, if I was a 120 pound woman or older I might change my habits.

This probably holds in most places. New Orleans is no worse than just about any other city I've been in, on par with Memphis or Birmingham.
