One rarely mentioned advantage of LiFePO4 is you can usually get by with 25% less solar due to the greater efficiency, faster charging, (no long slow absorption), and no need (or desire) to get to full charge every day. Lead-acid are bad at high-peak loads like microwaves.
 
OP has already ruled out LFP.

And although thus irrelevant here, if driving several hours every day, a good Alt/VR setup would eliminate the need for any solar at all.
 
Yes. I agree an automotive alternator is not the best choice for charging a heavy house bank. If you manage your usage, 4 GC batteries are a good choice. Get as much solar as you can fit. Blue Sea makes quality products. If you go with vehicle charging, this one may be more for smaller systems with lower budgets.
