Hey All - I'm installing my battery box & Four - T105 RE Trojan 6v. 225 AH Batteries today. I'm wiring the Series/Parallel to end up with 12 v @ 450 AH. What size wire should I use to connect these batteries together? Napa has all sizes, lugs and will crimp them for me.

I've been busy this morning and in between stuff I have done several searches, but I just keep getting diagrams of HOW to wire them. I know how to wire them, I just need a recommendation on what size wire.
                                           Thanks - Gadget

What is your biggest possible load or charging source?

Generally this will be the inverter.  I say no less than 4awg, but if you have 2/0 awg inverter cables then use 2/0 interconnects.

Do note that SAE gauge cable  sold in most autoparts stores is 6 to 12% thinner than AWG
