Hello Robbyrobb, That's a great question and I'll be waiting for feedback. It's one of the things on my todo list. My traveling home (trying to make it to WRTR 2019[emoji56]) will be a 2005 Cadillac SRX which has 2 sunroofs. I was thinking maybe adding a small trailer to hitch in the back. It'll do. I think to haul my supplies around and add more storage space inside my car. It's only me. On rainy days. I can retreat to the car if need be and not feel so confined in a small space.

It depends on the type of items you plan to put up there. Personally, I won't be putting heavier items on the RAV4 roof. Also, I want a box so I can lock it plus not have to worry about the weather.
