We are now getting close to our departure time, October 15!

Here is the info we need if you want to commit to going to Baja this winter, here are the steps you need to take:

1. Send me a FB messenger message that I can reply to with contact info for WhatsApp

2. Download WhatsApp (messaging app that ALL of Latin America uses)

3. Send me a WhatsApp message with the following information:
a. First Name
b. Last Name
c. Rig type (car, van, class C, Class A, etc.)
d. Rig length
e. Phone number
f. Email address
g. Passport number
h. Passport expiration
i. Name and number of emergency contact

4. Download iOverlander and start using it to find sites, resources, etc.

5. Buy a Motorola T600 FRS/GMRS Walkie Talkie pair unless you already have one.

6. Plan on being in the Yuma area on October 12-13th for group meetup.

8. All group communications will be in WhatsApp going forward for security and confidentiality.

All orientation, logistics, FMM’s (visas), Mexican Auto Insurance, Campground and Boondocking locations, border crossing, etc will be addressed on the 13th of October in Yuma.

This is not a trip for the total newbie or the non-adventurous. There will be hardships and soft spots and, yes, sand!

P.S. Highly recommend inflatable kayak, bicycle and light wetsuit if you swim/snorkel.
