Hey, all - I’ve been thinking about getting a back up camera for my ‘92 GMC/Explorer conversion and the time is nigh. I’m going to be using a hitch-mount cargo carrier and need a good view when backing up. I definitely want one that will be hard-wired in (no wifi/wireless/SMART nonsense that lags and is hackable). My question is between the rear-view mirror type and the larger monitor. My eyesight is not so great so maybe the 7” monitor would be better, but where is a good place to mount a large monitor in an old van with a huge console on a doghouse? Did anyone create a great set-up? What particular aftermarket back up camera has anyone found particularly noteworthy?
