I talked with this guy for quite a while and turns out he lives just up the road from me. I'm posting this since there seems to be much interest in E-Bikes.

He says that the trike comes apart in sections and will fit in the trunk. The little trailer has the electrical assist batteries and motor plus a bit of storage. Drum brakes on the front, rim brake on the rear and a disk brake on the rear for for when the stoker gets nervous. Check out that tall gear on the crank! I know the wheels are small but man, looks like someone is going for a LSR (land speed record, Mike)

Trike is a Troika. No longer in production.

What fun!

Thanks for posting, gsfish. Not a fan of the recumbent riding position myself, but I luvs a good gadget :)

I have a recumbent trike and find the riding position to be so much less painful than a regular bike which makes my neck and shoulders (and butt) sore. It is like sitting in a recliner vs a very narrow bar stool.

Gypsyjan,

Do you rest your head and neck while pedaling or do you have to keep them away from the backrest?
