Everything went cheap! I've seen buses with the same specs & milage go for $10k or more but the box truck was the best deal IMHO.

Keep in mind that Michigan uses chemicals on the roads to melt ice and snow.

Western Michigan gets lake effect snow off of Lake Michigan.

Michiganders, who restore classic cars, travel to Southern states to purchase rust free older vehicles.

It's called salt & yes it eats body panels but as with any used vehicle you have to look for more than rust. This auction co seems honest & posts a you tube of vehicles running, pics & desc of known defects, etc.

At $2,400 the box and drivetrain would bring more than that as cores or used parts in most places.
