Hey! Just wondering if anybody else has their dog(s) with them while stealthing.

I'm just staring out, and MAN do they make things more complicated. Mostly just because I can't GUARANTEE that they won't make noise. I'm worried that if someone knocks on a window, or leans against the van that they will bark. They could be a beacon to all nosy individuals. "Hey, I just saw that van move, and I think I just heard something whine. What if there are CHILDREN inside? *knock knock* There are dogs inside, and they're barking! So, not only are there children, being kidnapped and tortured, there are dogs, too? Quick, break in and call the cops!"

I tend to walk them at parks, and as soon as I let them back in the van, I drive away. I've had crazy notes left on my windshield of other vehicles saying I'm lucky the people didn't break my window to get the dogs, when they were left in the car for an hour in 65 degree weather. And another note simply saying that I'm disgusting for leaving my dogs in my car. Thanks So, I try to avoid the (mostly well meaning) crazies.

Also, I keep them hidden in places that I try to pass off the van as a work van, like where I shop, hang out inside, and (in the future) sleep. I already look like I don't belong driving a work van, so I feel like two small dogs would be even more of a give away that it is not a work van.

Anybody else have habits that are influenced by stealthing with dogs?

I just posted another topic about my new thermometer with remote sensor that I just bought. Hopefully it'll make things easier!
