Wondering if anyone here has military medical care and what their experiences are trying to use it (appointments, prescriptions etc) while on the road.
Thanks!

Are you talking about VA Health Care system or medical care for military retirees?

My folks were RV'ers before they passed, dad was a retiree and they has TriCare For LIfe. If that's what you've got, I know dad stopped at bases all over the country to get meds as needed.

ETA - he passed in 2008 and mom in 2014 so my info may be outdated.

I guess I can use TriCare ... I live near an amazing on-base hospital so I do not have co-pays or any costs.
I guess I am wondering how traveling and not using an assigned primary care physician works (or doesn't)
... I have some health issues that I need to be seen for every couple months.

Patty I'm not sure about that. I suggest you call Tricare and see what they offer. I suppose you could always ask on the base if you can get care at any base.
