I need to do have some stuff done on multiple cars. I would rather help a car/van resident make a little money than pay a garage's overhead fees, or pay a person off of Craigslist. It's the MD suburbs of DC. Pay for labor is negotiable (going by the CL ad responses, I think I have a range in mine). Labor might include going to junk yard.
The Kia needs brake pads asap, because the pad sensor is yelling at me. According to the guy who towed the Camry when it died at a gas station, it needs an alternator and possibly a battery (bought a battery and it completely died after 2 month). The Camry also needs brake rotors and pads. I'm not sure what the van might need; it is in working condition and is not a daily driver, so for now I just need to know what needs to be done before I go go driving far away.
