My name is Dutch and I have been reading this forum for about a month now and just joined today. Presently I am living north of Tampa and almost ready to dip my toes into the Workcamping lifestyle. I have applied to the Sugar Beet Harvest and Amazon and will pull it off in my Jeep Grand Cherokee. If  all goes well then a van and ultimately buy a TT. I look forward to being a member of this group. Thanks.

Welcome to the CRVL forums Dutch! Good luck with your job applications. Hope it all works out and you can join us on the road!

To help you learn the ins and outs of these forums, this "Tips & Tricks" post lists some helpful information to get you started. We look forward to hearing more from you.

welcome Dutch, I am often in Tampa and am a newbie. Maybe see you at RTR.

Welcome to the CRVL Forums   :)

I think you'll enjoy it here and learn what you need to know in order to go on the road and be successful in finding a comfortable and rewarding life.  It's within anyone's reach who wants to pursue it and all one has to
learn is the method(s) of thinking that they can find here.

If you can keep "things" to a minimum in your rig you can get the hang of making many uses from each item you carry along.  So you'll own your things and they won't own you.

All the best in your travels !

Welcome to the forum!

You may have seen the threads from about a year ago in which details of working at the Beet Harvest were discussed?

And for very detailed info on various jobs and how it goes to work for Amazon, you can't do better than to read www.interstellarorchard.com She basically works for Amazone each winter and at a national park each summer and that supports her for the year for the most part. She even explains doing taxes when you have income from more than one state.

Welcome I am new also, looking at end of September 2018 to make my escape if I cannot find a way to do it sooner. Best of luck on this journey.
