Howdy All,

Rick from Virginia.  I am like a sponge soaking up everything everyone has to say.  I am thinking of retiring in the next 5 years when my youngest graduates college and my parental responsibility drops to more of a minimal level.  somewhere between  55 to 57 yrs old then, younger if I can!!!.  I am thinking I will buy something to travel in whether a Van, Trailer, or RV (still trying to decide???) soon to work on and make it the way i want between now and then.  I have been around the world but now I want to travel the States. Drop me a note anytime!!!

Hello Rick and Virginia;

Good to see you on the CRVL forums. I have been lurking around here for a few months adding my 2 cents now and again lol and when I find that when reading peoples story's of why they want to begin this lifestyle maybe selling off all their things and condensing down to a rv, van or maybe even a tent I become a tad envious of ya'll (not just you and your wife but everyone) that I didn't slide into this lifestyle years ago, I ask myself why didn't I find Bob's channel years ago and do it then when I was much younger AND when health concerns wasn't, while I was still working being able to save some money for the rig I wanted (I would go with a converted cargo trailer and pull behind my pick up). At any rate, I salute you and others that have made the decesion to go this route early enough to enjoy it.  "SALUTE"
