I recently was visiting with an old friend that has a cabin on top of a mountain above tree line. He uses it about three to four days a month on average. Sometimes up to a week at a time. He has 2 six volt trojan batteries a 50 watt solar panel. They are 30 years old and still supplying him with alll the power he needs. 30 years old and counting.

2 x 6 volt is the way. That's wonderful my panels are 30 years old still pumpin the juice just goes to say some things do last. Went to AGM,s but the Trojan's are in my install in the back yard kind of a SHTF thing ...
