Hi to all, I am finishing the latest renovations to my van, "Brandy". I hope, weather permitting to hit the road at the end of March. I am in Colorado presently. I would really like to meet up with others and want to know where to go this time of year for decent weather and long term free camping. I am thinking flagstaff? Any help is welcome. Thanks Dino

Welcome Dinoewing to the CRVL forums! Flagstaff may still be a little too cold. It is around 7,000 feet there but you are from Colorado so it may be just right.

To help you learn the ins and outs of these forums, this "Tips, Tricks and Rules" post lists some helpful information to get you started.

Most of our rules boil down to two simple over-riding principles: 1) What you post should provide good information (like your introductory post), and 2) Any response to someone else's post should make them feel glad they are part of this forum community.

We look forward to hearing more from you.

Hi Dino and welcome - most are scattered between Pahrump NV, Lake Havasu, Quartzsite and Yuma in Arizona or thereabouts right now. Of course many will be moving to higher elevations over spring and summer - myself included [emoji16]. I usually end up around the four corners area or Southwest Colorado for the summer.

if you are interested, I can send you pins of free places to camp in those cities except Yuma.
