AGM batteries Help

OK&nbsp;bear with me again because I get confused with all the techo talk you guys talk about. Can I recharge AGM batteries or any battery&nbsp;using&nbsp;a solar trickler by itself? Im not using a lot of electric. This basically just for a light or 2( really I may not even need that). The reason is I have a way of charging most smaller batteries quite easily (for the laptop ,cell phone and I do not watch TV.) I will be using solar power to charge all my smaller batteries I do it now and it works wonderful. Now when I read this what the heck do I need AGM batteries for? I'm also using these&nbsp;<a href="http://www.amazon.com/Eva-dry-EDV--...=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1316734571&amp;sr=8-1" target="_blank">http://www.amazon.com/Eva-dry-EDV--...=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1316734571&amp;sr=8-1</a>&nbsp; I can recharge the&nbsp;crystals&nbsp;elsewhere besides the AGM batteries. I will be using a fan also but haven't decided which one. How much juice do I really need? I also will not be using a microwave.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div>
