Ah, john, I thought it was pretty clear when moxadox mentioned the WHO rehydration formula. They're in the business of saving lives in 3rd world countries where people die daily from malnutrition. -1.

WHO is in the business of promoting global corporate profits.

Plain water works fine. Lots and lots. Get a hydration pouch. Time activity between sun and shade. Restrict physical activity to night and early morning. Wear loose clothing that keeps the heat away from your skin. Like the robes and headgear of desert nomads.

Chemical additives also create unquenchable thirst that creates the need for more product. Whoever currently owns the Gatorade/"G" brands is in the business to make profits for the owners.

The dog and me are out on the west east side of  Deming on a few ranchettes right now. Temp is 95 with 30 % humidity. wind is 5-10 mph. Have a tarp up for shade . Its not bad but we are not getting any work done. Just sitting in the shade. If it does get really hot we can put the 5000 btu air conditioner in the window. I think that knowing if we want it its there makes it easier to sit out here. A few weeks back we were out here and did have to use it. It was 103 and 35% humidity.
We like it out her because no one ever goes by.  We are right next to leased blm land and they have a well and tubs for watering cows. Dog gets to hot and she can go over to pond. Weird part is that on Sprint coverage map we are in about a 300 foot area that gets 4g lte . Only thing is if it rains hard we have to either leave at start or stay for 2 days for water to go off roads.
