I was interested in these for some time. Got all the literature. They do have the one that is "portable", can be moved to a site, the issue was finding a place that would allow it. Was thinking of them just recently again, the "portable" as a possibility for a lot that I could purchase and use as RV lot and then in time as a place to set one of these up.

MONOLITHIC CONSTRUCTORS INC ARE IN ITALY TEXAS.      WWW.MONOLITHIC.ORG   <<<NOT A CLICK ON
THEY OFFER A FREE GUIDE TO THEIR DOME HOMES AND ALSO DO HANDS ON WORKSHOPS

I BELIVE THE PICTURE SHOWN HERE MIGHT BE RENTAL UNITS ON SOME PROPERTY THERE.

I USED TO WORK IN ITALY AND THE DOMES HAVE BEEN IN THAT AREA FOR AT LEAST OVER 20ys

It's an IT diagnostic acronym. It stands for "problem exists between user and keyboard."

NOT THIS TIME.  I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO CHANGE COLORS OF TYPE.  I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO POST A LINK.

I USUALLY ASK FOR SOMEONE TO DO A LINK FOR ME.  NOT THIS TIME AND THE SENTENCE AFTER I TYPED IN THE INFO FOR THE WEB SITE STATING "THIS IS NOT A LINK" IS NO LONGER THERE.

SO I'M DONE WITH THIS.  I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT I TYPED AND I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT WAS POSTED.

Their free "guide" appears to just be a series of 14 emails after you give them your email address. Their ebook costs 25 bucks.

I love those Dome Homes. If I ever get any property that's what I want to put on it. Preferably in a garage style so I can just pull my van in when I'm not traveling.

Go back to your post in question. Click reply. When you click reply, see the original text that you entered. You typed the url and wrote "NOT A CLICK ON" with some arrows. The forum software is smart enough to see the url you typed and it added http:// for you to make it a proper link. Part of your text was also changed in the formatting. Nothing creepy going on here, no one changed your post, it's just the forum software.

tnvangirl, check out steel garages or arch type steel buildings. I have seen those out in the country and always thought they would be great for that purpose.

Wow! Some of those are gorgeous. I especially like the front porch/balcony ones. I

DIY finishing out a bare bones steel building 'vandweller' style is a good option.

If this setup is addressing a need that is good. For me it looks pretty desolate. It reminds me more of a construction man camp than "Hobbiton".

I spoke briefly to a resident and she said they rented for $145/week with utilities included. No, they aren't exactly luxurious but from what I saw were kept up well. They're not located in a grand setting but would be good for someone who wanted to take a break from the road for a while without dealing with a lease.
