A newbie's food storage, can it be better? (Rodents)

Check thrift shops for a stainless steel bread box (about $50 new). Most of them are guaranteed to prevent all rodents, and some even say they will keep out bugs like ants.

Rubbermaid totes DO NOT keep out rodents. A Rubbermaid representative told me.
