Used dryer sheets like Bounce are great for cleaning just about any surface. Use a bowl with a pint to a quart of water. If you use a "new" dryer sheet you'll need to wet it and ring it out a couple of times otherwise there's just too much "stuff" in the sheet. Just wet the dryer sheet and ring out the excess water back into the bowl. Wipe down the surface you're cleaning with the "damp" dryer sheet to remove dirt, grime, bugs, road tar, etc. Immediately wipe the area again with a clean "damp" towel and finish the clean up with a clean "dry" towel. One word of caution; you may not want to use this on some clear plastics like lexan or acrylic where the maker warns against using any cleaning products other than mild soap and water. We've used this method to clean our motorcycles for years, including the windshields. We all keep a couple dozen used Bounce dryer sheets in a quart sized zip lock bag inside our saddlebags. This works much better than Windex or those "canned" cleaners. It's a lot cheaper and it won't damaged your paint. You're mileage may vary.
