With just days before I depart for Tahoe, I'm now going at a hurried pace to get things done. I am most likely going to get a few key things done/built, then the rest in Tahoe on days off.

On this go round, everything insulated, sealed, including floor. Folding dinette done. Currently working on Murphy bed. Next will be rear wall, and then installing wood stove. 30 amp shore power installation with be thrown in there somewhere along the line, and then solar components reinstalled. Trying to do all this between the raindrops, but running out of time.

Not sure if anyone would be interested, but here is some photos. The following photos show the folding dinette, and Murphy bed platform before and after staining. I am not fond of the darker color, but too late now to change it

Good attitude. Yes it's very dark in contrast to the Virgin wood. Later, the dinette seats will have paneling on the untreated wood.

Paint comes in all colors! As a nomad you might get bored, buy a brush and get creative. There is a ton of stuff you can do down the road.

Happy trails and congrats.

looking good, congrats on the start. always love to see the pics, sparks ideas - thanks!

Thank you Christine and Tav. Thinking about it now, I'm sure I put the stain on too thick. While waiting for the paint to dry so to speak, I assembled and fired up the new wood stove that I will be installing.

Murphy bed in place. It's a little rough right now still have to complete the frame. It does lineup and functions.

Hey Scotty,

Thanks for sharing. And there are many like myself that are really interested in your build and appreciate you taking time to post and attach the photos.

When you take a breath, watch Youtube, Cargo Trailer to Camper Conversion by Brian Rogers. It’s a 16 ft’er but its amazing.

Thank you Brian. Hardest part was over thinking it!
Over thinking can get one stuck. With the odd shapes of the vehicles we build inside the final details often have to be resolved in situ. Which is the stage of cabinet building I am currently at. It is slow going at that stage and can be frustrating but it will happen with some true grit!

Thank you I appreciate it. Sometimes I forget to pause and take photos or video.
One of the problems on this forum I have noticed is the maximum file size allowence. I understand the reasoning, but in this day of high resolution photos it makes it difficult to resize without drastically degrading the quality of the photo and losing focus of the original intent.

Thanks, I do understand what you mean. Even in this trailer, which was purchased new, the square box was anything but! I originally wanted to build all furniture out of reinforced polystyrene, but conceded that I did not want to take the extra time, expense, and learning curve of a new method at this juncture. I am thinking later that when I might tackle some additional cabinetry.

As work continues, lift shocks, mattress in place, and framing for rear platform AKA Garage.

Photos show the new shelving and countertop, with the two alpicool fridges C-15 and CX40. The C15 will be used for a freezer. Also showing is rear platform/garage area which is about H20xW24xL69. Use of wood stove in that area is scrubbed for now.

Tentatively rolling out Sunday for Tahoe. Solar hook back up, wiring up 30 amp power now. Next will be the closet. If anybody is interested they can see my progress on my channel...https://youtu.be/IwgtnLzlqz4

Done with the build for now. Now in South lake Tahoe for a new season.

Maybe when I locate some of that shiny stuff. Which reminds me, I need to try and clean out some of these culvert's!
