Joining today to start my six-plus-year plan to go on the road in 2025.  I am a risk-averse non-conformist ready to prioritize the non-conformist side, simplify my living, lower my footprint, and be in nature.  I hope to save for an all-weather Class B RV and then work seasonally to supplement a small pension.  So excited to see if I can make that date!

Biggest fear: not being mechanical enough or techie enough to be self-sufficient if an emergency happens.
Biggest excitement: to be where it is quiet and be in nature.

Might want to learn the basics of the rig you are planning on getting while getting ready to go on the road. My plan started when I was 45 and I was able to retire at 53 doing much the same as you state but I made it until I would be 62 when I could get early social security. Surprizingly it worked pretty well and I wish I would have been smart enough to continue it for several more years as I'm 68 this year and doubt I will be able to physically or mentally plan as well as I did years ago. After I hit 62 I didn't care as much as I knew things would work out but I could have done better with a plan or at least a bucket list and done some things earlier while I was physically able as well as keeping in better physical condition.

I have a four-year agenda and plan to go on the road in 2023. Keep researching and keep a folder for future reference.
