Suggestions?

My class b is one of the "highest" I've seen (picture attached). Its interior layout sacrifices height because the basin for the shower is built on top of the van floor rather than recessed beneath it, and so half of the interior floor is built up to be flush with the shower basin. The area that is unmolested is exactly 74 1/4" tall, so tall enough for you. However the rest of the interior sacrifices over 5" in order to mate with the shower. It is literally hollow space under a plywood floor.

I'm 5'10" and I can just barely walk around without feeling like I'm stooping over. One day, when I get really bored, ambitious and drunk, I'll tear out the shower basin and floor and recess it to save myself that height.

I've never seen a class b interior layout with more headroom. You could do the same as me, find one like mine and tear the floor out. Or you could buy a Sprinter, Promaster or step van and build your own interior that accommodates you.

Otherwise you may be looking at a class c.

It could also be simpler to saw yourself off at the knees and get fitted with some sweet half length peg legs.

Peg leg to stilts. Might be on to some thing. It looks like more and more I am going to a class C. Height is the killer in Class B for me. I have to be able to stand up.

Go to the local Mercedes dealer to look at the Sprinter class B?
I call them class C but it IS a van. OH yeah , prepare yourself for the price tag............

My E350 Ford cargo van with added hi-top technically is not a Class B, but it's about the same size. Various height hi-tops are available new or might be found used; some are insulated, some are not. Mine is 18" and with 1 1/4" of flooring I get 6'1" in the front area graduating down to 5'11" at the very back.
