Interesting ....but something is wrong in that listing.......The physical size (26" x 40") is too small for a 340 watt panel...

My 300 watt panel measures 44" x 66"

For better or worse, I bought two of them.

If they only put out 200 watts that's still a deal.

I noticed the size also, but WM has a good return policy.

I will run tests on the panels and report back.

Thanks SOFI... I helped out your good reputation.

I know, right? They are out of 120 and 240s, and the 340 is $117.
Even if it turns out to be 100, I will complain but keep it... Delivery on the 26th. We'll see.

I'm not going to mount these flexible panels on top of my van, I will probably just attach them to some plywood the size of the panel and lean them up against my van when in use. I will mount some quality panels on the van roof, but not flexible panels.

Yes, that's the idea, that's why I bought it too. I have 4 glass panels for the roof, but this you can hang it anywhere to follow low sun.

Agreed, we shall see what actually is shipped. Although I'll send it back if only 100W. I have enough of those.

Careful , you can buy 100W flex panels all day on on ebay for <$100 bucks with free shipping. You are not getting a 300 watt panel at this price in those physical dimensions.

When my panels arrive I will test them well, if they don't produce at least 200-watts then back they go.

Keep in mind panels never produce their rated output. That rating is under ideal conditions, in a lab. Just like alternators. Highdesertranger

My 400 watts worth of panels, the most I have seen from them is 265 watts, most days its from 230-245 watts,

Might be good for a portable system but beware.
Before I purchased and installed solar I looked at and researched flex panels but decided against them because of the extra heat they generate without any airflow under the panels when mounted. If you have touched a solar panel on a hot day you know what I mean. I decided to go with renogy and they have preform flawlessly for 5 years

So I wonder why we aren’t containing that heat to help heat the interior on cold sunny days?

With some way to keep them from blowing over. Or even blowing away.

They just linked to the wrong photo, that is why the dimensions look off. That photo belonged to one of the smaller sized panels they were offering that are now sold out.

You can see the dimensions for a 340 watt flexible panel size on the Arizona Wind and Sun website. It is larger than the size on the Walmart link.

These things happen, the website programmer does sometimes direct to the wrong photo. Not an intentional deception, just an error.
