I purchased a 2008 PT Cruiser, a mini mini or micro van.  I will be measuring and planning the build out. My goal is to be on the road in May. The short interior dimensions will be a challenge ( I am 6 foot tall).
Have been reading the forums and Blog posts for a year plus.  Wonderful information: Thanks Bob and the forum posters.

Congrats on your purchase. Curious as to why you chose a PTC? Do you plan to full time in it? I would love to see pics of how you do the layout.

It picked me.  72K miles on it, Yakima rack, excellent mechanical condition, and super low price.  I paid cash, so no debt. Been looking for a year in the Portland area, vans are expensive, high mileage, and very beatup.  The small space forces me towards the minimalist end of the van dwelling spectrum.  My plan is 3 months van dwelling, 3 months near family, rinse and repeat.  In 18 months, will have saved enough money for a mini or full size van.
I plan to be at RTR 2017.

I find it fascinating when someone makes a Utility Wagon into a camper/dwelling vehicle.  I will follow your project with interest.  Especially being a tall guy myself.
A buddy has a PT Cruiser, so I know how tight it is inside.

Be careful of adding weight.  The PT Cruiser is the stationwagon version of the Neon econocar, not a minivan.  It could be easily overloaded.
