Is 8,800 a fair price from a dealership? When I go to kbb they say fair price is around 6600 (there is no option to select for conversion, so just a bare van).

worth less, not saying worthless. I have made some mistakes buying used cars.

Any idea where I should start negotiating?

Instead of trying to figure a starting price maybe you should check out similar vans on the net and competing dealers in your area. Then pit the dealer against those prices.

I did a quick check on carguru and found a E250 base with 63K miles starting at $5000. Had a little rust and a few minor dents but still.....63K is really low mileage.
