The winters get cold and a couple months a year usually gets to where I have to walk in myself as park is snow stuck. Was planning to be south myself instead of year round up here this one.

Mild temps and zero snow this year while the rest of the country freezes. 40 high and 10 lows several days this week. Everything is melted and no mud even right now. Looking like a drought year here

Weather's holding. No snow. 40 highs 20 lows pretty mild for idaho and riding the coattails on Cali and there hot spell. Winters sort of going to miss us. Warmer here right now than some of the south places I was heading too. Odd year. Upgrades for spring will be ready sooner so....

Thanks he was a good dog. My mom passed the week before him so last year was rough. 2018 looks good so far. Ruby is cool atm. Stop by this summer I'm upgrading electricals.

I appreciate the thought and the offer. Most of my spring projects that are labor intensive are done. Now I'm down to working on my own camper which will be more slowly for financial reasons.

I dug and laid electrical for about 400' of trenches already and spent my budget for upgrades for others. Silly probably but I like to have stuff others are going to use done before I worry about me; probably because the place bears the namesake Honey. I now have 2 50A, 4 30A and a few 15A outlets out farther in my field so people don't have to be on top of me. Annoying but while the wire is in place 2 of the 30A receptacles are delayed in shipping; but installation takes ten seconds now that everything else is in place.

Now the snow from last night needs to melt again, and the mud go away. Yesterday we got 3" of rain, which for a desert establishment was tremendous. We average 10" in a year total precip so 30% in one day didn't help the spring mud at all.

I was born in Couer d'Alene. I love North Idaho more than south. Much prettier, more water, trees etc. A lot of people don't get how different Idaho's climate is, being 600 miles tall. I also find north Idaho more moderate temp wise, mostly as its actually lower in elevation mostly up there.

Looks like it'd be a great part of a weather route, summer maybe. If/when I can get that mobile, I'd sure be willing to help out around the place. I'd considered doing something similar eventually, just buy a piece of cheap land somewhere, and make it available "at your own risk" to friendly RV'ers.

That'd be a little while, though. I'd want to make the rounds myself for a bit first.

It's been a long rough summer, and the season is closing. I don't actually close but I mght as well and I may as well hit the road for five months since no one comes here in the winter. Had 540 guests this year, I only count them on the first night, so a 6 week stay is still only one person. It was fair crazy for a good chunk of summer but is obviously over now.
