I Eventually Broke The Front Indoor Handle of my 1987 Fleetwood Bounder; Any Suggestions?

The first picture is what my door looks like without the handle that I broke and the second picture is with my stopgap fix so that we could still open the door ( vice grips). Does anyone know where I could get a replacement handle? Thanks, in advance, Brian.

    Anyone remember...?

Morning! Does anyone remember a video that Bob did maybe a year or so ago, when he personally took a trip over the border to Mexico, and had some dental work done and bought some meds etc? I saved that video, but I’ve just spent ages pouring over my saved YouTube vids and I can’t find it...

Just how dangerous is keeping a 20 lb propane tank in an RV for use with. Big Buddy?

We own 2 Mr. Buddy Heaters (Big Buddy) - one for backup - and we live in a stationary (until the end of April) 27’ class A RV. We have always kept our 20 lb tanks outside, but it’s just too cold here (Canada) got that to be viable in winter. The regulator keeps icing up, regardless of how well...

Are any of you worried about autonomous vehicles?

Are any of you worried about  autonomous vehicles, as in Level 5 autonomous vehicles - AKA vehicles that can drive themselves and literally navigate any terrain? Big rig drivers, taxi drivers, and all other professionals drivers *are* worried. Taxi drivers in major cities have two years of job...

    A year fulltiming - what we’ve learned.

Greetings Earthlings! We just realized the other day that we’ve been ‘fulltiming’ in our Class A RV for a little over a year, so we decided to take stock of what we’ve learned. I hope this is useful to fellow nomads. First and foremost, at least for us, RVing in Canada is *nothing* like RVing...

    The Art of Wandering....

There is an art to wandering.  If I have a destination, a plan - an objective - I've lost the ability to find serendipity.  I've become too focused, too single-minded.  I am on a quest, not a ramble.  I search for the Holy Grail of particularity, and miss the chalice freely offered, filled full...

    DIFFERENCES OF OPINION....

Morning all! After checking my e-mail, I had a notification that a few people had posted on the 'preparing for winter' thread. Bob, you said to start a new thread if we wished to say something about your disagreement with Off Grid 24/7, and I do. I've learned so much from all the folks here...

Need place to park RV near Safeco Field, Seattle.

Help! Jesse and I need somewhere to park our 28' Class A Bounder close to Safeco Field from Friday, July 24th - Sunday, July 26th. RV parks are all booked up in the area that weekend, so we're looking for a good spot - industrial park, hospital, truck stop, or even a private driveway (we'll...

[split] Stealth Parking In Canada and Phoenix

This thread has been split off a thread that was very rudely hijacked. Please, do NOT hijack other peoples threads. Extend the courtesy to them you want for yourself.   Bob As far as stealth parking goes, couldn't you simply say you were on holiday?  As long as you don't stipulate a time frame...
